Presidents Changeover

Our changover on 28th June took place on board the paddle steamer Allington Belle as members cruised down the medway from Allington Lock to East Farleigh and back. Outgoing president Lion Stanley handed over to our new President for the coming year Christine Small.

Duck Race

Our annual Duck Race took place on 21st June on the stream at the “Man of Kent”  pub in East Peckham. The event raised nearly £1000 for the respite care facilities at the Hospice in the Weald, and there was a £100 prize for the winning duck, £25 for second and a further five £10 runners [...]
