We usually have an array of social events throughout the year and previous socials have included a cheese and wine night, chilli night, playing Bat ‘n’ Trap in the park (google it – it’s great fun), drinks in a local pub, a Christmas meal, a carnival meal, a safari supper, a barn dance, participating in quiz nights and many more.

Every year we also hold our ‘Charter Night’ – Usually at the end of January, this is a celebration of the founding of the Club which is was formed or ‘Chartered’ 40 years ago. We meet with our partners and friends and members from other Lions clubs to celebrate our achievements over the previous year.

We’ve held our Charter Crlebration for 2026 which was at at Dale Hill Golf and Country Club in late January. The club welcomed many guests, including the MP for Tunbridge Wells, Mike Martin, whose constituency covers a good chunk of our area. As usual, everyone enjoyed an excellent 3 course meal and live music.
