Staplehurst Carnival 2010

We again organised the annual draw for the Staplehurst Carnival on 26th June. With great weather for a successful and enjoyable event, the draw raised nearly £700 for local charities. Half of the funds raised goes to the Sobell Lodge Cheshire Home in Staplehurst, with the remainder to the Staplehurst Carnival funds and the Lions [...]

Duck Race 2010

Our annual Duck Race took place this year on 23 May, raising around £1000 for the Hospice in the Weald. Our thanks to The Man of Kent in East Peckham which was once again the venue, where the hundreds of plastic ducks bobbled along the River Bourne to the finish line. See our Gallery Page for [...]
