Last weeks Carnival was a great success with great weather and lots going on on the field. We had good support for our Carnival Draw with lots of interest in the results. This Saturday 8th July is our Carnival day. The procession starts at 12:00 from Eldon Way as usual so please be aware that roads will be closed for a short while to allow the procession to make its way to St Andrews Field. Main roads affected will be Maidstone Road, Commercial Road and Church Road….
Last Sunday saw our annual Duck Race at the Man of Kent pub in East Peckham. The weather was very kind to us, and the river flowing just nicely for a close race. No one fell in the river (just a few soggy wellies) and all of the ducks were safely returned to race again…
