So where have we been committing and donating our fundraising efforts recently?

Our year runs from July to June, and so far this year we’ve committed and donated in excess of £11,000.

So where has it gone?

  • providing school uniform vouchers for needy children
  • helping families with heating bills
  • helping several needy families and individuals by purchasing various items
  • providing transport for a disabled person to visit his wife in hospital
  • pledged to support residential trips for disadvantaged Year 5 Children
  • pledged to support Kenwood Trust drug and addiction awareness programme in local primary schools
  • Supported COMPAID ( alongside Tonbridge and Sevenoak Lions clubs)
  • pledged to contribute towards a special camera to detect problems with childrens eyesight ( it will be bought jointly by Lions clubs around Kent, but it will be available locally)
  • donated to Staplehurst Emergency Help team fund to update their radios
  • donated to various foodbanks in our area,
  • Contributed towards a local persons training to become a childrens counsellor, with the objective of improving mental health amongst our junior community.
  • Provided funds to enable 2 local children with mental health problems to undertake courses run by Dandelion Time.

If you think we might be able to help you, or your group, please get in touch.
