‘Paddock Wood & District Lions Club regrets to announce that we have decided to postpone this year’s Carnival Weekend events, comprising Rockin in the Rec on 10th July and the Carnival Procession and Fete on 11th July.
The reason for this is the continuing uncertainty about when and how large outdoor events can be held whilst coronavirus related social distancing regulations remain in force. Shaws Fair, who might otherwise have come to Paddock Wood from 9th to 11th July, will not now do so for that same reason.
The Lions will keep the situation under review, and hope to make a further announcement by early July as to whether (or not ) we will run either or both Carnival Weekend events in some form later this Summer
